Sarah Hogan was born in Ireland but moved to California when she was ten years old. Six years later she traveled back to Europe, this time to London where she studied Mixed Media Art at Westminster University. Like many top photographers she got hands-on experience by working as an assistant to various top professionals.
The broad exposure helped her hone her skills and choose interiors and food as her subjects of choice. She has since become known for her exquisite still life images and light filled interiors. Equally at home shooting in a black out studio or a daylight filled room, Sarah uses available light, flash or continuous lighting to achieve a unique tone, mood and texture for each image.
She now works with top interior designers and is a regular contributor to Elle Decoration, Red, House & Garden, Homes & Garden and other magazines. Sarah was a finalist in the 2014 AOP awards, in the Association of Photographers category "Object Single Image". She has exhibited her work in a group exhibitions called "Capture"' and "Mercury Rising" at the Association of Photographers gallery.
