Old house in Haarlem The Netherlands gets a new second floor

Alain and Bregje added an second floor, to create space for two more bedrooms. It still has the original stained glass windows but other than that the house was pretty much stripped and rebuilt. The custom-made the interior fits their needs. They chose whites, light colours and straight lines to give a feeling of spaciousness and to add volume to the small house.
